We have made full use of this excellent learning package on our MA HRM programme. The content is contemporary and much needed as today’s HR Managers have limited exposure to, or experience of handling industrial disputes. The design of the DVD allows interaction and group discussion and has truly enhanced our module. This tool will be used time and time again.

Relevant topics presented in high definition. An investment that will stand the test of time. A well recommended resource for blended learning programmes.

I did the computer-based learning version of the film and found it very compelling. It was not only an excellent combination of film scenes, expert talking heads and reflective exercises, but also very simple to navigate. It was instructive but also engaging, involving you in the experience of the chief protagonist who needs to deal with industrial action for the first time.

And that is this resource’s real strength. Only film can really put you there and give you an experience that is as close to being there as you can get. And with this particular subject matter where there are no black and white easy answers, this will be a massive advantage to anyone encountering industrial action for the first time.
